NovaCast and GSA at Ankiros

Together with our Turkish agent GSA we were present at the 10th International Ankiros Exhibition in Turkey. Håkan Fransson presented a paper entitled Simulation of castings in various types of filters in NovaFlow & Solid^TM CV. Most of our Turkish customers visited the stand, thereby confirming our position as market leader both in casting process simulation and thermal analysis in Turkey.

Thermal Anlysis Seminar in Düsseldorf

NovaCast Systems hosted a Thermal Analysis Seminar in Düsseldorf, Nov 30 - Dec 1. Nearly 60 persons from the foundry industry world-wide participated in this event. The underlying theme of the seminar was feederless casting, a complex subject that needs to be treated from various perspectives. Seminar presentations outlined the challenges and difficulties that technical staff in a foundry face every day. Discussions about optimal process paths for production of different components in grey, ductile and compacted grahite irons were very educational and stimulating.
